Local hairdresser is crowned Bronze Young Talent Winner at the Wella Professionals TrendVision Award UK & Ireland Final 2015
Reec Bullman has been awarded one of the highest hairdressing accolades in the UK & Ireland winning the UK Bronze Award in the YOUNG TALENT Category on Monday 5th October at the Wella Professionals TrendVision Award UK & Ireland Final 2015 – one of the world’s most prestigious annual hairdressing competitions.
Reece competed against hundreds of stylists from across the UK at the Regional Heats earlier this year securing his position at the UK & Ireland Final, this year held at the prestigious Roundhouse in London’s Camden. The UK & Ireland Final saw him compete against 47 of the country’s most talented hairdressers to be crowned the UK Bronze winner of the Wella Professionals TrendVision Award 2015 in the YOUNG TALENT category.
The next step for Reec is to take the amazing mentoring programme provided by Wella. Hewill learn from Leonardo Rizzo from Sanrizz.

A long-term program launched in 2010 by Wella and UNICEF in collaboration with hairstylists and clients around the world, the WELLA-UNICEF MAKING WAVES program offers the gift of education to vulnerable young people in emerging countries.
18,000 YOUNG PEOPLE ALREADY TRAINED.
For young people in Brazil, Vietnam and Romania, life can be tough. Accessing quality education is very difficult and unemployment high. In the first four years of the program in Brazil and Romania, 18.000 vulnerable young people were empowered through life-skills education and hairdressing training.

Reece is through to the National Finals! After hundreds of entries, four tensely fought regional finals in Edinburgh, Manchester, Nottingham and London, and a heck of a lot of hairspray, Wella Professional have completed their Trend Vision 2015 UK finalist line-up.
144 entrants were selected to present at the UK Regional Heats, before being whittled down to just 36 finalists. Each finalist will now fight for the chance to represent Britain at the Trend Vision Award International Final by competing in the UK & Ireland Final, due to take place on Monday 5 October at The Roundhouse in London’s Camden. They will be up against the winners of the Irish regional heat, which will take place on 24 August.
The UK contestants were judged by some of the most highly regarded industry experts including Daniel Couch, Russell Eaton, Sue Comery, Zullo & Holland, Linda Stewart, Rainbow Room International, Philip Bell, Ishoka, Nicky Clarke, Nicky Clarke Salons, Keiron Fowles from Regis and Patrick Cameron.

For the 6th year Reece joined Fudge Fix at LMC, Seeing to press, Designers, Indie rock singer Martin Luke, Electronic duo Honne and deep house production duo Blonde .
Looking back at the four days, John Vial reflected: “it was another fantastic season for us, I’m really proud of Reece and the other Brand Ambassadors who worked really hard to pull off a show stopping salon that rarely saw an empty chair”
Reece commented: “This was my sixth season working at The Fudge Fix at LCM. I love getting to meet exciting new people within the fashion world. Hearing where they draw their inspiration from helps inspire me and brings a buzz back to the salon. I styled Martin Luke Brown’s hair for the event – from working at The Fudge Fix he has actually become a client of mine at Chopp”

We have had some great news at Chopp, Our stylist’s Paul, Reece, Joe and Frankie entered in to Trend Vision this year and amazingly all four got through to the regional finals. This is a first to have 4 entries and 4 finalists from one salon, We are extremely proud of our team that has work hard to get here and would like to wish them all the best of luck in the finals on the 18th May.

The One, An evening of red carpet glamor Paul returned home with the silver award which was created by glass blowing artist Ingrid Pears MBE.
Judging the show was the industries finest Tracey Hayes, William Wilson, Nick Malenko and Shelley Dalton. Guest of Honour Errol Douglas MBE was there to let the competitors know who had won.
The show was hosted by Chris Foster from Moss Academy and Martin Holmes from Strangeways with two presentations one from William and Karen Sparacia demonstrating their colour placement system also Warren Boodaghians and the TIGI Team.
